Next Meeting - What's it gonna be about?

Its a few months since the group met and I'm really keen to start meeting regularly once again, but I need your help. This is your group and I need you to tell me what you want to talk about at our next meeting.

Focus on Sales Performance and Forecasting.
The next London User Group Meeting will be held at The Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall on Tuesday 28th October 2008 – registration from 5.45pm, event starts at 6.15pm with a drinks reception afterwards.
The meeting will
focus on leveraging SFDC for Sales Performance and Forecasting requirements. I’m
very pleased to announce this meeting will be hosted by is being hosted by
Xactly Corporation.
Xactly offers an
award winning sales performance management system, offering an application
suite capable of managing all sales compensation, compensation modelling and
incentive rewards programs for clients including a brand new analytics
capability for reporting purposes.

Next Meeting - Focus on Apex Code - 13 March
First there was ‘Software as a Service’(SaaS), now there is 'Platform as a Service' (PaaS)!
The next London User Group Meeting will be held at The Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall
Date: Thursday 13 March from 6pm
Force.com is the world’s first Platform as a Service, enabling developers to create and deliver any kind of business application, entirely on-demand and without software.
Focus On Apex Code
User Group members have expressed an interest in Apex Code, so this will be the focus for the meeting. Apex is the world’s first on-demand programming language, enabling customers to extend their use of salesforce.com to create and run any business logic and application on the Force.com platform. With the ‘Spring ’08 release’, all Salesforce Enterprise & Unlimited Edition customers will have access to Apex code.

Focus On S-Controls
Thanks very much to Sofia Works for sponsoring our meeting on 06 September, and walking us through S-Controls. Thanks also to fellow User Group members, Kerry Townsend from Flowmaster and Joe Feltham from Teach First, for your valuable contributions and insights into how S-Controls have helped you to resolve business process issues within your respective organisations. Thanks also to Mia Farlam for Chairing the meeting.

I am very pleased to confirm that Mia Farlam from Xerox will be chairing the meeting. As always drinks will be taking place after the event to enable time to network and meet with other SFDC users and partners.
At the last meeting, a number of requests we’re made to understand more about S-Controls, what they are and how they can solve business process issues. I have therefore secured the sponsorship for our next event with Sofia Works. Sofia Works is a Professional Services organisation which consults on salesforce.com and specialises in S-Controls.
