THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I would like to thank all of the Atlanta Salesforce.com users who participated in our meeting on March 5th.  It was an extremely successful 2009 Launch meeting and I am excited about the plans we have made for the year.

As promised we will be posting our notes from the meeting as well as the schedule for 2009 this week.

Thanks again to the Atlanta team......you are the best!

Atlanta User Group - All Hands On Deck!

We are looking for some energized Salesforce.com users to make 2009 a successful year for the Atlanta team.  There are a few areas in which I will need some assistance:

  1. March 5, 2009 is the date scheduled for the next Success Tour in Atlanta. We would like to create a quick meet and greet with a very soft agenda before the Success Tour begins.  I would like to have any suggestions on potential sponsors for the "Lunch Mixer".
  2. I am looking for someone to work with me in leading this team for 2009.
  3. Ideas on meeting locations -  we would need a location large enough to accommodate at least 100 people - preferably at no cost.
  4. Ideas on potential sponsors for meetings in 2009

I have a few ideas and am excited about sharing them with the team.

Please look for an update on the blog as we get closer to March 5th!

Look forward to working with each of you.

Next User Group Meeting

Hi Everyone,

It has been a crazy few months!  I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication.  I am going to try my best to get the user group up and running.

First, I am looking for a co-leader for the group.  I know a few of you have expressed interest in the past.  If you are still interested, please reach out to me directly.

Second, I am looking for a host for the next meeting.  Is anyone interested?

Third, I am planning the next meeting for after Dreamforce.  Are there any particular topics that you would like to cover?  Please send me an email with your suggestions.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

User Group Meeting - January 15, 2008

Hi All,

The next Atlanta User Group meeting will be held January 15, 2008. During the Administrator Birds of a Feather meeting at the recent City Tour, a large percentage of admins had questions/concerns surrounding data integrity. In response, our next user group meeting will focus on best practices and ways to manage your data.

We will host Mark Esdale from CRMfusion, who will discuss the importance of clean data, ideas on to how to cleanse your data and how to manage the process moving forward. You may have seen Mark at Dreamforce, where he led several sessions about data integrity. If you missed Mark at Dreamforce, now is a great time to get to see his presentation. If you were lucky enough to attend one of his sessions, this meeting will allow for a more in depth discussion. Mark will also have a cool give-away for each attendee.

To ensure that we have a healthy discussion around what is possible within the application, I am looking for admins who are willing to discuss and/or demonstrate what they have implemented to successfully manage their data. If you are interested in sharing your experiences, please contact me directly.

Please RSVP via email by Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

I look forward to meeting on the 15th.
